Process

From consultation to therapy

Transparent, structured and always in the best interest of your animal.

1

Initial Consultation & History

We begin with a detailed conversation about your animal's medical history, current symptoms and your observations in daily life.

  • • Medical history and pre-existing conditions
  • • Current medication and findings from the veterinarian
  • • Your observations on behavior and movement
  • • Housing conditions and feeding

Please bring any existing findings and X-rays.

2

Assessment & Gait Analysis

I thoroughly examine your animal – from gait analysis to joint mobility to muscle assessment.

  • • Gait analysis at walk and trot
  • • Palpation of muscles and joints
  • • Range of motion testing for all joints
  • • Pain localization and assessment

The examination takes place in a calm, stress-free atmosphere.

3

Therapy Plan & Treatment

Based on the assessment, I create an individual therapy plan and begin the first treatment.

  • • Individual treatment plan
  • • Combination of suitable therapy forms
  • • Instructions for exercises at home
  • • Coordination with your veterinarian

The plan is adjusted to progress at each appointment.

4

Follow-up & Adjustment

In follow-up appointments, I review the therapy success and adjust the treatment as needed.

  • • Review of therapy progress
  • • Adjustment of treatment plan
  • • Advice on exercise and daily life
  • • Long-term care for chronic conditions

If needed, I involve additional specialists.

Home visits

Treatment at your home

All treatments take place at your home or stable. Your animal stays in its familiar environment and can relax. This is especially important for anxious or pain-sensitive animals.
