Melina Seipt
Animal physiotherapist & naturopath
Animals communicate quietly – through movement, posture and subtle changes. This close attention to detail shapes my work.
I am a trained veterinary medical assistant (TFA), animal physiotherapist and animal naturopath. In my work, I combine conventional medical understanding with a holistic view of each individual animal. Anatomy, biomechanics and medical context form the basis of every treatment – complemented by a calm, individual approach.
Many problems do not arise suddenly but develop over time – through incorrect loading, compensatory postures, overuse or age-related changes. Often it is small signals that point to an imbalance: a changed gait, hesitation when getting up or reduced enjoyment of movement. Taking these signs seriously and analysing them in a structured way is a central part of my work.
Every therapy begins with a careful assessment and an individually tailored treatment plan. I do not work according to fixed patterns, but based on professional judgement and transparent analysis. Not every method is suitable for every animal – which is why I select treatments deliberately and responsibly.
My goal is not short-term change, but a lasting improvement in mobility, stability and quality of life. Movement should once again become natural – at the animal's own pace and adapted to its individual conditions.
My work is intended as a complement to conventional veterinary medicine, not a replacement. Collaboration with veterinarians and clinics is a matter of course for me. Professional clarity also means recognising limits and openly communicating when further veterinary investigation is necessary.
I work primarily through home visits in the Fahrenzhausen area, the district of Freising and northern Munich. In their familiar environment, many animals react more calmly – this creates trust and allows for a quiet, focused treatment.
Animals are also part of my private life. I live with a German Shepherd and an Australian Shepherd, which means I know many topics around movement, training and health not only professionally, but also from personal experience.
Working with horses has been part of my life for many years. Through care, riding shares and my work as a riding instructor for children aged three to eight, I developed an early feel for movement, behaviour and the individual character of horses.
PawEquira stands for well-founded, responsible and individual care of dogs, horses, cats and small pets – with medical expertise, a holistic perspective and the ambition to achieve lasting improvement.
